A little Autumnal hues – maroon, army green, and mustard yellow. Sprinkle in a little beige and you have some easy autumn inspired outfits. The star of the show here are these brown booties. An exercise I do before I purchase something is create outfits with what I am about to purchase. If I am able to successfully create more than five outfits than I verify the purchase.
This is exactly what I did when I purchased these brown booties. I asked myself how can I style brown booties in more than five ways and the below is what I came up with.
One of my favorite sweaters because when I pair it with blue jeans I just feel like myself. Add a few brown accessories, the boots of course, a brown bag, and a brown watch. I don’t know about you but I don’t mind mixing the shades of brown. I’d rather mix the brown hues then covert to an all black look, especially in the autumn season.
Leather leggings have been all the rage. I recently purchased these vegan leather leggings and have been loving incorporating them into my wardrobe going into the winter since they are fleece lined!
Corduroy is such an autumnal texture in my opinion. I love this front button skirt paired with some tights for those chiller days.
Again, same with the maroon corduroy skirt above, wear some black tights for some extra warmth. Stripes with this army green color is such a classic look in my opinion.
Here we are again with the stripe and army green combo. Again, give a relaxed look with the blue jeans and the brown booties.
A simple crew neck sweater can go a long way during this season. The classic blue jeans and brown boots just tied this look together.
Something about a cream and maroon combo that just gets me. You can easily replace this cream cardigan with a denim jacket as that combination pears nicely as well.
The underestimated mustard yellow piece. I love this color but find it hard to style without looking too much like a bubble bee. I think for this outfit that’s where the blue jeans and the brown boot breaks up the look. You can also chuck on a chunky blanket scarf with the same tones for some extra warmth.
Sweater blazers are such a versatile piece, especially for work. This is explain is how I would dress is down, but you can easily wear this in a business casual office setting. Pair it with a long sleeve bodysuit tucked into some slim fit trousers, and some loafers.
Another example of how to dress a sweater blazer down. I love the button detail of this top as it pairs seamlessly with the blazer and the boots.
Fuzzy sweaters, corduroy textures, turtlenecks, a nice curation of your favorite autumnal colors – and you have yourselves ten ways to style one pair of brown booties. Booties and boots are my favorite type of footwear. The booties with the white sweater is quite appealing.
Oh I love this and booties are just so versatile great post!
I’m loving your ideas. Not just the boots, but tips like this … “If I am able to successfully create more than five outfits than I verify the purchase.” A great way to make the most of what you have in your wardrobe.
Great styling, my favourites are definitely the first 2.
