We are at the six month mark of the year, which means it’s time to do some mid-year goal reflection. In my post about My Realistic Goals for 2022 I mentioned how difficult it’s been to achieve my goals due to the uncertainty of the world. I did however set some goals in February so I want to reflect on those since we are halfway through the year.
Goal One
The first goal that I had set was to workout. Now I will say we haven’t been consistent with this. Some weeks we go to the gym and most of the time we fall off track. I also wanted to just stretch more generally but I haven’t done that either. This one that I definitely need to work on for the next half of this year.
Goal Two
The second goal I had set was to drink more water after downsizing my Hydroflask. I have been drinking more water which is great! I do drink about 2-3 bottle a day which has been great for my skin. That leads me to my next goal of skincare.
Goal Three
My third goal was to take care of my skin since I have been struggling with adult acne. I am happy to say that I have been decently successful with this. I have been going full throttle with my skincare routine and have seen a significant improvement in my skin. I do have post-acne marks still so I am trying to pinpoint what I can do to reverse those. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments below!
Goal Four
My fourth goal was to read more. I started the year with a pretty sold start on reading but when we traveled to Hawaii to visit my family that’s when things kind of fell through. I am trying to pick it back up and currently I am reading Thursday is the New Friday. I have been into the book so hopefully that gets me out of my reading funk.
Goal Five
The last goal I had for myself was to write more. I don’t think I quite achieved this because I used to post more on this website, however, I have been writing on my Instagram and I started a new side project of selling notebooks on Amazons. I do hope to write on here more so that will be one of those goals I hope to improve on for the rest of this year.
As you can see you win some and lose some. I do want to mention a bonus goal that I am about to embark on which is straightening my teeth. This has been a journey for me because when I was fourteen I had gotten braces, but had an allergic reaction to them so had to remove them immediately. I am so excited to say that in the end of June I will be doing Invisalign (not sponsored)! This should be an interesting next year and half/two years for me since Invisalign is quite the process, but I am excited and can’t wait for the results!
Overall, this has been a great start to the year and I hope you enjoyed this Mid-Year Goal Reflection. Let me know in the comments below how you have been doing with your intentions/goals for the year. I would love to know!
