Toward the end of January I received a shipment of books from Book Outlet it was my first time ordering from them and I had such a great experience. Think of Book Outlet as your outlet store but for books! They sell you the overstock that publishers get but for a bargain price. How much of a bargain? About 50-90%! It’s a great deal in my opinion. Basically, the books are new but they may have gone on and off the shelves/books so might have a few hits depending on handling but that just gives the book some character in my opinion. Anyway, onto my February reading list:
The Return by Nicholas Sparks
I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan. I am obsessed with his novels, I know they can get kind of repetitive but I just appreciate a good love story where it shows a pull through in trials and tribulations.
Next Level Basic by Stassi Schroeder
I don’t understand why the word basic has gotten a negative connotation. I think being basic equals simple and that is not a bad thing. This book hopefully with reenforce that thought for me or open me to something I am not seeing.
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
You may think by the title that this is a self-help book, but it’s not there is a whole storyline to this novel. If you like life-and-death situations and how people reaction in this flight-or-fight mode this is a good one.
An American Marriage by Tayari Jones
This book gets you thinking how you would react in certain situations. I enjoy simulations of this sort and books that feel real but actually aren’t.
I hope you enjoyed this months reading list. I definitely have more books to read than time but I hope to be able to get through more books this year. I also would like to cup it together with some travels since things seem to be lightening up on the COVID-19 front. Make sure you comment below what your February reading list looks like. I would love to add more books to my list.
Really enjoyed your list!!! The Return is my reading radar as well!
