Armenian food can be masked behind Mediterranean, Middle East, and the Caucasus region due to the history of the Armenian people. As many of you know Armenians were at war recently with their neighboring countries. So, it is crucial now, more than ever, to support Armenian businesses. A pro tip for those who want to venture beyond the hummus and the tabboleh; make sure to give babaganoush a try in replace of hummus which is essentially grilled eggplant. And instead of tabboleh give fattoush a try. Another favorite is Lahmajun (Armenian pizza), which you can get from George Assadourian in New Jersey.
