I know I have been working from home for the past year now, but I couldn’t help buy these classic Zara high waisted trousers for when we are back in the office. I love getting classic pieces that I know will last me the test of time, and I felt these happened to be one of those pieces.
The color I got is “Oyster” even though they have so many other beautiful colors, but I felt this was too beautiful of a color to pass up.
Neutral Sweater
For those chillier Spring days, you can pair these with a nice neutral sweater. You can maybe even venture into some colors since this is such a neutral pair of trousers.
Sweater Blazer
In a recent post, I styled this sweater blazer and explained how versatile this piece was in my wardrobe. The versatility transpired into these trousers. Here I styled it with a plain white blouse, but you can switch up the blouse with just about anything and top it with this blazer. The camel color in this blazer and the oyster color of the trousers are just so beautiful together.
Colorful Blouse Top
Whether you have a pink chiffon blouse or a light blue like the one below. Because the Oyster color of these trousers are subtle it allows you to play with a little bit of color. I like a bit muted look rather than a bright color so that is why I went for this light blue chiffon blouse.
White Collared Blouse
A collared blouse with these smart trousers is just a perfect combination. Here I styled it with a short sleeve collared blouse, but you can also style it with a long sleeve, or opt for a white collared blouse with some texture. The Oyster color in the pants with the white just looks so seamless together, and if you want to add a little color throw on some pale pink loafers.
Black Blouse
A sister to the white blouse is the black blouse. You definitely can’t go wrong with a black top or a black blouse. Chuck on a nice cardigan and some loafers and you have yourself a nice polished work outfit.
Floral Blouse
This style might be a bit “Grandma” as my cousin would refer to it, but I enjoy floral top. Personally, this top is very versatile cause it has pink, army green, and orange. So, if I am feeling adventurous I can pair this top with some colorful bottoms. For this look though I can pair it with a colorful cardigan to tie things together. My pick would be a pink cardigan!
This piece will definitely take me through all seasons depending on how I style it. If I add in some Autumnal Hughes, I feel that will pair well; and when Winter rolls back around I think chunky knits will look cute as well.
These Zara High Waisted Trousers have immediately become a favorite piece in my work wardrobe. You can wear it with just about any work loafers or heels, pair it with a cardigan of some sort, accessorize and you look classic and put together.
These outfits are so chic and stylish. I love the color combinations because they are not too loud. Oyster color tops are a trend. I also like white and block tops because you can always pair them with any bottoms.
So many great options but I have to say that camel coat is my favorite it will dress anything up of down in a heartbeat!
I have a problem with Zara, I like it, but every time I go in to get something I never find anything ç_ç Anyway I really like the look you created.
So versatile!!! Such adorable looks!!!
