With Thanksgiving a week away, many of us are frantically thinking about what easy sides to make. Even though this is Thanksgiving with a 2020 twist, that doesn’t mean we should skimp out on the delicious sides! This year it is just going to be me and my husband, so for us we don’t necessarily need to make an entire spread, but below are our favorite Thanksgiving side dishes that we will definitely be making this year.
To make things even easier for us, we recently bought an air fryer and may just pop a few of these into it. For example, the sweet potatoes, yams, green beans, butternut squash, and Brussel sprouts can easily be cooked in the air fryer.
Mashed Potatoes
Mac n Cheese
Corn
Green Beans
Brussel Sprouts
Sweet Potatoes
Yams
Acorn Squash
Butternut Squash
Cranberry Sauce
Of course we can’t forget the infamous cranberry sauce!
Comment below what are some of your easy Thanksgiving side dishes! We are curious to know and would love to try out new recipes. To find similar posts, head over to the Food section of this blog.
Such a great list of the traditional sides we all know and love for the holidays! I can not wait!
Luckily I didn’t read it when being hungry. Lively ideas.
My favourite would be the mashed potatoes! Yum!
I am a FIEND for mac and cheese on Thanksgiving Day. It just hits different. Especially when the yams and mac and cheese touch each other and create excellence
These side dishes are easy but so yummy. Love corn, green beans and sweet potatoes. Didn’t know the yams and acorn squash. But that’s because in Germany and Spain, where I now live, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. But I shall check them out because I love to try new vegetables.
Nothing says thanksgiving more than these vegetables! I actually just pinned of your posts already! However I can’t wait to check out the food section. I am always looking for new recipes. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
