It is official I have graduated university with a double bachelors degree. Congratulations to the class of 2018. It feels surreal to have spent the past four years devoting myself to a grander picture and chasing my dreams. As I sit and look back to the past four years and forward to what I am going to be doing next, all I am left with is a fascination with how things come around.
I have been dreaming of moving to Lebanon, and in about two and half months I will be moving there and attending a university most can only imagine. I feel blessed and humbled by the opportunities that I have been able to achieve. In less than a week, I will be heading to Armenia to get further connected with my culture, working, living, and continuously learning life lessons.
It seems like the path that I am choosing is not the norm, but it feels true to me. Most people will never consider moving to another continent after graduating university and starting a new life, but I am eager to see what this journey has in store for me. I believe when you put your mind to something the opportunities are endless. You can knock and not receive a response, but if you knock a hundred or a thousand times, someone is bound to answer. We need the grit to keep going and not get discouraged.
