There are a few places in the country that go all out when it comes to the holiday season. We are well into the middle of December and tourists have picked up compared to last year but not it’s usual high so this might be the perfect time to enjoy this magical time of the year. We have the beautiful window displaces on Fifth Avenue, the breathtaking Saks Fifth Ave window show, and many other festive moments to enjoy. But what you can’t miss are the best Christmas Trees in NYC.
NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE
Starting with the oldest tree in the city – the New York Stock Exchange is located in the Financial Distract and has a 98 year tradition of tree lighting.
THE PENINSULA
The elegance along with the architectural beauty just give the most magical Christmas vibes.
ROCKEFELLER CENTER
The Rockefeller Christmas tree is easily the most famous tree in the city – if not the country/world. This is a 79 foot tree with nearly 5 miles of wire which is about 50,000 lights, and a nine-foot-wide Swarovski crystal star tree topper.
BANK OF AMERICA WINTER VILLAGE AT BRYANT PARK
The Rockefeller tree rival is the Bryant Park Christmas tree. This tree stands 43 feet tall over the park where a Winter Village is setup and an ice skating rink (just like Rockefeller).
THE PLAZA HOTEL
Bring in the Home Alone vibes. I am all for it!
WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK
The park is swarming with musicians and carolers so make sure to swing by for this picturesque shot of the tree in front of the marble arch. While you are in the area make sure to check out some of the foodie spots.
TAVERN ON THE GREEN, CENTRAL PARK
This instagrammable restaurant in Central Park has a festive tree and is in the spirit of giving by donating 5 percent of proceeds to a non-profit organization.
NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY
Stunning is an understatement of the entire ambiance of the library.
There are so many beautiful and wonderful Christmas trees in NYC and places to get into the holiday spirit. I’d love to know some of your favorite spots like the one in Madison Square Park, Lincoln Center and the alike.
Wow! Absolutely stunning. Would love to see these for real one day.
I love going out and seeing all the Christmas trees. It’s such as joy, are the little things in life that count! I’ve never been to NY but that looks grandiose. Christmas time is definitely the time I would like to visit NY, hopefully one day! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Nobody does Christmas quite like NYC I think everyone should be able to experience it at least once in their lives.
