I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream
Le Flocon Artisan Glacier – Naccache
A beautifully decorated clean little shop – a wide variety of flavors available, but whatever flavor you pick or combine, you will feel the genuine taste thanks to the freshness of the ingredients. Has dessert options too, and they make delicious Pain Perdu. Caution: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.
Recommendations: Dulce de Leche, Caramel Toffee, Raspberry and the Passion Fruit.
Helado – Jounieh
Started as a little family business in a narrow street in Sahel Alma/Jounieh area and due to the high influx of ice cream lovers, they had to move to a bigger location while keeping their recipe for one of the best ice creams in the country. The taste of the ice cream at Helado is unrealistically realistic.
Recommendations: Lotus, Almonds, and the weekly alcohol flavor.
Helwayat Salam (Hanna Mitri) – Ashrafieh
Vintage shop is located in Ashrafieh. Extremely authentic and highly addictive. This place will take you back in time while allowing you to indulge in some authentic Lebanese booza.
Recommendations: Croquant (Caramelized Almonds), Eau de Rose (Rose Water), and Lemon.
Glace Awad – Raifoun/Ghazir
It doesn’t matter if you like ice cream or not, but you will fall in love with the ice cream at Glace Awad as there is something special about this place that makes every flavor taste so distinct and unreal.
Recommendations: The generously coated pistachio Ashta booza.
Orso Bianco – Ashrafieh
Sugar-free and with no additives, Orso Bianco offers one of the best and most fresh ice cream flavors in a little shop on the Mar Mitr Street, Ashrafieh.
Not just cups and cones, they also have their distinct flavors available in Liter boxes.
Gelato cakes are also available.
Recommendations: Vanilla Caramel Crunch, Salted Caramel, and passion fruit.
These places look great! Lebanon has been on my bucklist for a while! I will have to come back to this post when I can travel there!
yum! these all look great!
Ok, WOW, all of these look amazing! I would definitely try the Croquant and the Dulce de Leche. Now you’ve got me craving ice cream 🙂
I wouldn’t have associated Lebanon with ice cream, but now I need to visit just for the ice cream!! The flavours at Le Flocon Artisan Glacier are all my favourites too. Although I’m also curious about the weekly alcohol flavour at Helado. My mouth is now watering and I’m craving ice cream!!
